Road to Ruin was Heather’s final project for her advanced Digital Film Making Diploma at Natcoll. She was so excited by the project, as it was a great way to try and put herself out there as a director and editor.
She funded most of the costs for the project herself, but just needed a little help from her crowd to cover the final post-production costs and get a professional voice over artist.
Without the support of Pledgme I wouldn’t have been able to make it to the standard it deserves or have got so much interest. Road to Ruin is now a full 23minute documentary which originally would have only been 8minutes, was blown away to be awarded Distinction for this project and much of that stems back to having the crowd funding option available to help me achieve more professional results 🙂
