We’ve been seeing a lot of community projects coming through lately – with an especially strong focus on community gardens.
One in particular, Innermost Gardens, asked one of our staff along to their planning meeting. Not only did they discuss their thoughts on crowdfunding, but they really showed the true essence of why they do what they do. They’re passionate about community, about nature, and about giving back. Their ask wasn’t major (enough money to pre-pay the lease on the council-owned garden house) but their need was. With the rocking rewards they have on offer, it looks like they might soon join the rest of our garden success stories.
Our brand ambassador left that meeting very happy – with a bag full of veggies she didn’t know existed.
Here’s what Olivia and the Innermost crew had to say about PledgeMe:
What did you like about pledgeme?
I liked that Pledgeme is a local crowd funding ‘vehicle’. It gives the opportunity to connect with people within your community.
How did you find the experience?
My personal experience was successful, and the Innermost Gardens crew feels like it was a great way to share our project and grow community awareness. Also, Pledgeme is user friendly and synchs well with social media platforms.
Any tips for newbies?
Have fun and take pictures of the process. Post updates! 🙂
I say crowdfunding, you say:
It can Grow & Sow your community!
I have attached an image from our recent Garden Day. We had several new people show up because of the Pledgeme Campaign. 🙂
