On the 1st of December TEDxTeAro was held at Te Papa, with eight local Wellingtonians sharing “cool ideas from the coolest little capital in the world”.
TED is a non profit organisation devoted to ideas worth spreading, it originally started out as a 4 day event in California 26 years ago and has since spread worldwide. TED speakers have included well known names such as Bill Gates, Jane Goodall and Sir Richard Branson, but now our very own Anna Guenther had the chance to share her ideas at TEDxTeAro.
Anna talked about crowd funding and PledgeMe and why she thinks “It’s going to change the world”. The day was a huge success and a lot of fun (there were ogres and massages!). Check out the video of Anna presenting her crowd funding ideas and tips to the Wellington locals:
