Infinite Dance Crew, a group from Wellington, were almost ready to head to the world hip hop championships in Serbia – but still had a short fall in their funding of $1,000. So they decided to go to their crowd for help, and not only did they raise everything they needed – but managed to bring home gold!

We asked them to give a bit of feedback on their crowdfunding experience, and here’s what Brianna had to say:

What did you like about pledgeme?

While running our Pledge I was always able to contact someone if i had any questions- excellent customer service!! This was a great way for our friends and family who don’t live locally to donate and help us make it to worlds!

Any tips for newbies?

Make sure you do a lot of advertising! We all posted our pledge on Facebook a few times a week – using videos, pictures and funny captions to attract people to our pledge.
