Crowdfunding can be a hard thing to explain – but I think this video explains the thinking behind it all. The project creator is the crazy person who just starts dancing. Once someone joins you’ve got your first pledger (and really, it’s probably your mum if we’re being honest). The third person is vital though, they legitimise what you’re all about, and are the ‘catalyst for the movement’. Then, hopefully, the crowds just rolls on in.
