Michelle and her team worked on the film ‘Ellen is leaving‘ for over year. The film is about Ellen who is heading overseas, and decides to find her boyfriend a new girlfriend before she goes. This film is premiering at the Chicago International Film Festival, and with the help of 57 pledgers, Michelle raised $3414 to accompany her film and help promote it on the ground. This is what she had to say about using Pledgeme to help her raise the money:
What did you like about pledgeme?
It was easy to use and was for a New Zealand audience so there wasn’t too many credit card or currency conversion fees.

It was a bit nerve racking to put myself out there like that, but great to see all the support the project got, so overall it was a positive experience.
