Helen Dennis raised enough money to finish off her album of Christian praise and worship songs. She needed a little extra money to help finish her project, which included mixing and mastering, artwork and replication. A massive 57 pledgers helped her to raise $3030, and in return they’re going to get a copy of the CD and lots of chocolate! Here is what she had to say about crowdfunding:

How did you find the experience?
To be honest, I didn’t initially feel comfortable with the idea of putting myself out there, but was surprised at how much I got out if it. Apart from reaching my target, it really did provide a place for people to write encouraging messages, pledge their support not just finance. This was priceless for me and gave me a real boost of confidence.
