Sofia Robinson is one step further down the road of making a difference in the international climate change arena. She has been involved in youth climate issues for years now and her dream is to attend the UN Climate Change Conference in Qatar this year. Only 5 youth get selected to represent New Zealand and the trip is fully self funded. Thanks to a massive 48 Pledgers, Sofia raised $3069 to help her get to the conference and let New Zealand youth have their say! Here is what she had to say about using Pledgeme:
What did you like about Pledgeme?
It was easy to share on social media-easy for people to see a story and feel part of it rather than just asking people to donate money to a bank account
How did you find the experience?
Good, exciting, nervous, had to push it online a lot
Any tips for newbies?
Get interesting rewards-thank pledgers-make it fun/funny-push the countdown,i got the most responses when i started saying how many days or hours I had left
